Jewelry Care

Keep Your Pieces Shining Bright

Every piece in our collection is crafted with care using 18k gold plating, 18k gold fill, or 925 sterling silver — all beautiful materials that deserve a little extra love to stay looking their best. Here are our top tips to help your jewelry last longer and stay tarnish-free:

1. Avoid Water & Sweat
Moisture is the enemy of shine. Remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, or working out. Water and sweat can dull the finish and speed up tarnishing, especially for plated and filled pieces.

2. Apply Beauty Products First
Always put on your lotions, perfumes, and hairspray before your jewelry. These products often contain chemicals that can react with the metal and cause discoloration over time.

3. Store It Safely
Keep your jewelry in a cool, dry place — ideally in a soft pouch or a lined jewelry box. Airtight bags can also help minimize exposure to air and humidity, which can cause tarnishing.

4. Remove Before Bed
We know it’s tempting to fall asleep in your favorite necklace, but it’s best to remove your jewelry before bed to prevent tangling, stress on chains, or surface wear from nighttime tossing and turning.

5. Wipe it Down
Gently wipe your pieces with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. This helps remove oils and residues that naturally build up from skin contact throughout the day.

6. Rotate Your Favorites
Even high-quality jewelry benefits from a break. Rotating your pieces and not wearing the same ones every day reduces the wear and tear on any one item.

By following these simple care tips, you’ll help your jewelry stay just as stunning as the day you got it — for years to come.

Please keep in mind that, because tarnishing is a natural result of exposure to moisture, air, and everyday wear, it isn’t considered a product fault and isn’t covered under returns or refunds. The same applies to certain types of breakage — for example, if a chain is pulled, caught, or mishandled. Our pieces are delicate by design, and we include care instructions to help you get the most wear and joy out of them.

If you ever have a question about how to care for your piece, we’re always here to help.
